ARC Laboratory Services provides abrasion testing for aggregate materials to AS 1141 and Main Roads WA specifications. We conduct Los Angeles Abrasion testing on both standard aggregate and limestone, quantifying resistance to impact and wear under rotational load. We also assess surface wear through Resistance to Wear by Attrition testing. For road surfacing applications, our Polished Aggregate Friction Value testing evaluates skid resistance potential. These tests are essential for pavement design, road surfacing, and construction material approval across Western Australia.
