ARC Laboratory Services provides alkali-silica reactivity testing to identify aggregates that may cause long-term deterioration in concrete structures. We conduct Potential Alkali Reactivity testing using the mortar bar method to AS 1141.60.1. We also offer the Accelerated Mortar Bar test to Main Roads WA specification WA 624.1, which delivers results in a shorter timeframe. Both tests are critical for concrete mix design and aggregate source approval on infrastructure and building projects across Western Australia.
